In case you are wondering where I have been… well today I am celebrating my birthday! I am thanking God for giving me another year…. and to have the energy for a brand new craft room! Yeah! my hubby said I could have a brand new craft room for my birthday so I have been working on clearing my entire room (with stuff I have accumulated for the last 12 years in it!). My mom, sister Angie and husband have all been helping for the last two weeks. I should have it ready by next week so I can start posting more projects.
Here are some pictures of the flowers I got from my husband and my parents today.
Thanks for stopping by and I promise I will make a video on the makeover 🙂
Hi everybody! As yo can see on my blog now I have a Stampin’ Up logo to the right of this post…. That is right… I am now a Stampin Up Demonstrator. I am very excited because this is my first Stampin Up project as a demonstrator.
My goal is to show you how to use you Stampin products in conjunction with whatever other products you may already have.
Today I am making this quick and simple get well card for my friend who is recovering from breast cancer surgery. I hope she cheers up a bit. Please help me pray for Katie so that she may heal soon.
The card is A2 in size. The papers used are: Raspberry Ripple, Poolparty and Whisper white. Stamps sets: Petite Pairs and A Fitting Occasion. Ink: Calypso coral and Old olive. Punch: Petite label. Flower: By LDM Creations store. Cuttlebug embossing folder. ATG glue and glue dots.
Raspberry ripple cut 4 1/2 x 11 and folded in half. Pool party cut at 4 3/8 x 5. Whisper white cut at 4 x 4 3/8 (all inches). Strip cut at 1/2″ by 4″.
Keep watching for more great ideas to come. I have bought a lot of goodies and will be making fun stuff.
Hi there! I hope you are getting ready for your holidays. I celebrate Christmas so I decided to do a “wrap” for my Christmas photo cards. I found this website that has this free cityscape SVG files that I used. Essentially what I did was use my ECAL program and welded the desired background to two rectangles. Here is a screenshot:
My machine did the rest
For the marquis I used my Storybook cricut cartridge and used the Accent Blackout feature of the image found on page 51. I cut it at 4.25″ wide x 3″ tall.
The stamp is from Ink-a- Doodle and the red ink is from Color Box. I used Stamping Up shimmer mist to give the red paper sparkle. The red paper is from Recollections at Michaels.
Yep… I have been MIA but I have been really busy. I have been planing this little birthday party and the theme was Minnie! (with a Christmas twist). Here are some pictures:
We We created custom centerpieces, water bottle labels, Minnie Christmas ornaments, custom stockings for the chimney, custom Minnie lanterns and even got a giant 4′ Minnie balloon! We scored on the giant 4′ giant Minnie stuffed animal as well… The birthday girl loved it!
