New Digital File At LDM Store

With so many special events coming up during the spring and summer why not design your own gift card holders? I have designed this cute holder which is very versatile. It can be customized for any occasion. I have made three samples. It comes with some basic embellishments but you can also buy some of my beautiful flowers at my store:

Graduation Cards

I made these two cards using SVG files from SVG cuts. Just click on the banner to the right and it will take you to their shop where you can buy their graduation files.

The first card was made with the black and glitter papers from Recollections. The cap is an SVG file that comes with your kit. It was cut at 3″. The base card is a 6″ x 6″ card. Note I ran the cap through my Cuttlebug and used the divine swirls folder. I used some gold stickles to add sparkle to the cap. The second one (with the grads silhouettes) was also made with the Recollections silver glitter paper. The card comes pre-measured for you so no need to re-size it. The black and yellow papers are also from Recollections. The silver metallic ribbon is from Michaels as well.

Diaper Cake for Baby Boy

Jinger Adams http://www.jingeradams.com/2012/02/jinger-adams-design-team-call.html is having a designer call. I am submitting my diaper cake for consideration. It involves several crafts : sewing, paper crafting, gluing and decorating. I am not sure if they are looking for one specific trade but I wanted to show that I can do more than one craft I am very versatile. I can go from cooking to sawing to paper crafting all in one day

I made the custom wide ribbon wrapping for the cake with fabric and ribbon. I covered the banner stakes with curling ribbon. The banner is made of chocolate metallic paper and I got the “baby” from the New arrival cricut cartridge. The bear was purchased at a local store. It took a lot of hours but I think it came out really cute.
